Ancestry.com's Lab (Relative Genetics) Test Results

Comment 1: Completely new and separate cheek cell swab samples were collected by the below participants and sent to Ancestry.com/Relative Genetics. However, for bookkeeping purposes, I have used the FamilyTreeDNA.com Kit Number ID's to identify individuals in the below tables in order to allow easy identification and cross-reference of the individual results in the Ancestry.com tables on this page with the results for those same participants in the FamilyTreeDNA.com results tables displayed in the
Y-DNA Project Home Page,

Comment 2. For whatever reason Ancestry.com's lab Relative Genetics initially was using letters for the results for four markers instead of numbers. Ancestry.com has since released the numeric true allele values for these DYS marker allele values. In the following tables I have shown both the letter initially reported by Ancestry.com and the true numeric allele values recently disclosed by Ancestry.com.

Notes:
1. Cells with dashes in them, if any, indicates we are still awaiting test results.
2. Recent revelations report that DYS439 and Y GATA A4 are same markers by different names. Therefore Ancestry.com is really only testing 23 different markers.
3. Ancestry.com is now reporting numbers at Y-GATA-H4 marker which are shifted 15 points lower than initially reported, i.e., 27 result becomes 12 under new reporting system. I don't know why they are doing this. I have decided to show both numbers for the time being until I get more clarification.
4. Results of testing by this second laboratory provided 10 more different markers for which Kit 581 matched with Kit 577. When combined with the 23/25 matches from the tests done with FamilyTreeDNA we now have a 33/35 match between Kit 581 and Kit 577. This clearly establishes a close genetic relationship between ADAM1 and FREDK. See the merged tables, link below for specific marker matches and differences.
